EASTER EGG CARTON-CUTERIE

Here comes Peter Cottontail…Easter is this Sunday! I know what you’re thinking…I need a thoughtful and festive hostess gift! (Well, you’re thinking about it now anyways) I have an egg-cellent (& functional) gift idea for anyone you want to spoil this holiday! I’m calling it Egg Carton-cuterie! 

Since egg cartons are plentiful this time of year, spruce one up and fill it with Spring themed goodies! I used a 6 egg carton (so cute) and spray painted it a bright color. I chose Krylon “Ripe Peach”. If you’re lucky, you might find brightly colored egg cartons on store shelves…I’ve seen blue and pink! In trendy charcuterie form, fill the carton with an assortment of treats. Use mini muffin tins and liners to add carrot cakes, jelly beans, brownies (use a cookie cutter to make festive shapes), etc! Tie it all up with some string and a tag wishing them a Happy Easter! 

He is risen, let’s celebrate!! Happy Easter, ya’ll!
