LOVE DAY WAFFLE BOARD

Just when ya think winter’s grip couldn’t get any tighter, they go and forecast temperatures no greater than my age (ah-hem 28). Never fear, there are brighter days ahead ie. Super Bowl Sunday (check out these easy football brownies) and Valentine’s Day! February 14th is just around the corner, and this is your sign to start making plans. Here’s one…celebrate the ones you love with a waffle board! They say love is all you need, but waffles with all the fixins’ sure don’t hurt!

Let’s start with a wooden serving board and our handy dandy waffle maker. I used a normal mini waffle maker but consider buying a heart waffle maker for the occasion. Heart eyes! I placed my waffles in the shape of a heart in the middle of the board and surrounded it with waffle toppings galore! We’re talking bananas, blueberries, strawberries, nuts, chocolate chips, and heart marshmallows! Don’t forget the syrup in a festive serving bowl! As the famous Valentine’s Day conversation candies would say, “Waffle board, U R CUTE!”. Enjoy, friends!
