PILGRIM HAT CRESCENT ROLLS

Show of hands…whose favorite part about any Thanksgiving feast is the sides? ??‍♀️That’s me waving my hand proudly in the air! Green bean casserole, mac & cheese, and stuffing are at the top of my list, but this year, I think I have a new fav. Pilgrim Hat Crescent Rolls! Festive up your Thanksgiving spread with these rolls which can totally be served in addition to the classic dinner roll. If you think there’s room for only 1 bread roll on your table, you’re wrong. Carbs are always welcome.

Buy a package of Pillsbury crescent rolls, place each dough triangle individually on a baking sheet, roll the wide part of the triangle 1/4 of the way up and cut the top 1/4 part of the triangle so it leaves a flat top. I like to brush melted butter on top of the dough and bake using package directions. Once they’re done baking, let them cool and add cheese slices above the brim of the hat to resemble a hat buckle. Who knew crescent rolls could be so tasty and festive at the same time? I think we have a new Thanksgiving tradition! A feast for the eyes and taste buds, indeed! Happy Turkey Day!
