TACO ‘BOUT A PARTY

In honor of the upcoming Cinco de Mayo holiday (any holiday that calls for chips, salsa, and margaritas is something to celebrate!), I’m throwing it back to the FIESTA bridal shower my friends and I threw a few summers ago! This was nacho average bridal shower…my amigos and I celebrated the happy couple all evening with fiesta themed decorations, food, and a cerveza or dos!

Guests knew they found the party with the sign below. ?

This came together quickly with a chalk board and colorful pom poms hot glued to the edge.

Additionally, we decorated the party space with faux cacti, maracas, a balloon garland, and a “taco ’bout a party” banner! Looks a like a fiesta to me! ?

The margs and cervezas were the drinks of choice along with a Mexican inspired meal! Love me some tacos!! We decorated cactus and sombrero cookies with my fav royal icing recipe for a sweet party treat! Tastes like a fiesta! ?

We wanted the future bride and groom to really shine so they adorned party sombreros and got the first hack at the party piñata. Yes, a piñata is a must! Feels like a fiesta!! ?

Looks, tastes, and feels like one heck of a fiesta…and that it was! This was the perfect way to celebrate our love for a wonderful couple (& all things Mexican!)
