THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE THE BAR

Prost! Salud! Cheers! Let’s belly up and talk all things home bar! Thanks to some handy family members, our bar was built from the ground up, and it now reigns as one of our favorite spaces in the whole house. Can ya blame us? Grab your favorite cocktail, keep scrolling, and we’ll be-GIN the tour!

In order to flow with the rest of our home, we chose white cabinets and faux wood laminate countertops for the bar itself. We added a sink, refrigerator, and sliding cabinet trash can for the utmost convenience (best decisions to date). Gotta have barstools! These beauties are pleasing to the eye and the tushie.

To decorate the walls, we installed a “BAR” bourbon barrel sign and wooden shelves to store glasses that have/will hold many a beer. The adjacent wall has a mounted TV to cheer our favorite sports teams to victory!

The countertops hold coveted sports memorabilia, liquor (duh), and a few DIY furnishings. In order to add a little spunk to the space, I designed and printed some of my favorite “drinking” sayings and framed them in picture frames of various sizes and styles. Such an easy and inexpensive way to bring your personality to the new digs.
